Jefferson County Job & Trades Fair

The Jefferson County Job & Trades Fair will showcase up to 80 employers with paid opportunities available to local youth, including:

  • Summer Jobs
  • Entry-Level Positions
  • Apprenticeships
  • Internships
  • On the Job Training
  • Job Shadowing
  • Support for Long-term Career Development

Participating businesses, companies, nonprofits, civic and government agencies will connect with 600+ high school students who are eager to engage with professional development opportunities.

Complete the Application Form to secure your table at the fair and your place in our printed directory, which will be distributed countywide in collaboration with the Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader.


Presented by The Production Alliance in partnership with Chimacum, Port Townsend, and Quilcene high schools.

Reserve a Table

The Jefferson County Job & Trades Fair has capacity to host up to 80 organizations at Chimacum High School on Friday, May 12.

 

Cost: $150 

Includes a table at the event, premier placement in the Employment Directory, and inclusion in all event marketing and promotions. 


Opportunities for shared table space are available to regional farms, nonprofits, and skilled crafts/trades.

Space is limited! Organizers are working to cultivate a comprehensive mix of employers. To participate, your business MUST complete and submit the online Application Form. Application deadline is April 1st.

You will be contacted by a fair representative to confirm your inclusion in this event by Friday, March 17.

Employment Directory

Eligible* businesses, companies, nonprofits, civic and government agencies can opt in to be featured in the JeffCo Job & Trades Fair Directory. Listings include contact information and description(s) of the types of paid opportunities available to local youth.

  • Purchase of a table at the fair ensures your business premier placement including a logo and short description.
  • Businesses unable to participate in the fair on May 12, but wish to be included in the directory can secure a space for $75. Email at info(at)theproductionalliance(dot)org for more information. 

10,000 copies of the directory will be distributed throughout Jefferson County at key recruitment locations and insertion into the Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader weekly edition on May 10, 2023, which reaches more than 6,500 readers.

To ensure that tabling fees remain reasonable for small businesses and local nonprofits, and that the fair can support a vibrant and diverse representation of opportunities for students, The Production Alliance is seeking Event Sponsors to offset overhead. 

$500 Sponsorship benefits include:
